Dear CRE Participants,

This communication is intended for Rehabilitation Professionals (Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists) in India who wish to obtain Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) points by attending and participating in the 57th Annual Conference of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHACON 2026), to be held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

As per the Revised CRE Guidelines of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) dated 14 October 2025, only RCI-recognised Centres of Excellence are authorised to organise CRE programmes. Accordingly, ISHACON 2026 is being conducted in collaboration with the Government Audiology & Speech Language Pathology College and Department, Government(CL & SC) Spine Institute, Ahmedabad, which is a recognised Centre of Excellence (Government) (O.M. No. 8-A/Policy/(Recog)/2009/RCI dated 14-10-2025). The above institution will serve as the host institution for the ISHACON 2026 CRE activity.

Please note that only Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists holding a valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number issued by RCI are eligible to apply for CRE points. Participants who are not registered with RCI or do not possess a valid CRR number will not be eligible to avail CRE points.

If you hold a valid CRR number, you are required to apply for CRE points through the official RCI website. A detailed step-by-step guide for RCI registration and CRE points application is available on the official conference website.
