Rules and Regulations

Eligibility

1. Participants must have IMA registration
2. A female spouse of an male IMA Member can participate
3. A male spouse of female IMA Members cannot participate

Fees

1. One Event - Rs 500/ Per Person
2. Two or more Events - Rs 1000/ Per Person
3. ⁠Double partner also needs to register & pay fee

Participation Rules

1. Minimum 8 entry required for any age category
2. If there are less than 8 entries in any age category, participants of that age categories will merge with lower age category.
3. 1 participant will play in a single age category
4. 1 participant will not be allowed to play in multiple age category
5. 1 participant can play in all 3 format singles, Doubles and Mixed doubles

Match Format

1. All matches will be played on a knockout basis (Best of 3 sets)
2. 1 set will be of 15 points
3. No duces in qualifying matches (Golden Point rule)
4. In Semifinal and Final Duce will be allowed

Equipment & Attire

1. Players must carry their own racquets.
2. Non-marking shoes are mandatory.
3. Only Yonex Mavis 350 green cap shuttle will be used throughout the tournament

Code of Conduct

1. All players are expected to maintain sportsmanship and professional behavior on and off the court.
2. Any form of misconduct may lead to immediate disqualification.
3. The organizing committee reserves the right to take disciplinary action wherever required.

Final Authority

1. All decisions taken by the Tournament Committee regarding scheduling, draws, and disputes shall be final and binding.
2. The Referee’s decision during matches will be final.
3. The organising committee reserves the right to interpret and implement these rules wherever required
